I am currently Assistant Professor in at the École Polytechnique (France). More precisely, I belong to the Probability research unit (and PEIPS research team) of its Center for Applied Mathematics (CMAP), and teach in the Applied Mathematics Department (DepMAP).
Before that, from November 2023 to August 2026, I was a postdoc in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McGill University, in Montréal, under the supervision of Louigi Addario-Berry. From April 2025 to August 2026, I was a recipient of a Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship, funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
Even before that, I received my Ph.D. from Sorbonne University in Paris, under the supervision of Thomas Duquesne and Shen Lin at the LPSM. You can find the manuscript here.
My research is mostly in probability theory. I investigate the links between the combinatorial properties of random discrete objects and the geometric characteristics of random continuous structures. My research interests include:
random walks,
branching processes and random trees,
scaling limits,
random geometry,
critical phenomena.
I sometimes get lost in more distant mathematical areas such as non-commutative algebra or point-set topology.
